London in Bloom

I lie, London looked rather drab and dreary today with most people still walking about in dark clothing.

However there was some colourful exceptions, especially where you would normally expect black or grey.

This crossing in Southwark has been Blipped before by others, instead of standard tarmac this artwork has been introduced. The 'Black Cab' like many these days had a similar multi coloured advertising livery. The building hoarding, traditionally battleship grey or the like, has had professional graffiti added to add interest. All a welcome distraction on a damp day.

Mono Monday: As promised I am announcing next week's theme today. It is more of a technical challenge but possible on camera or phone. The theme is 'DEPTH OF FIELD' with the tag MM164. The choice of subject is yours.
