Departing

Heading to Johannesburg today. Working with a charity located there to help makeover a day care centre in one of the townships near the city. Then a few days in Capetown at the end as a holiday.

Exciting stuff but 16 hours of flying before then. 8 hours to Dubai and 8 hours to J-Burg.
On the first flight the films were completely different from what was in the magazine so had no idea what was showing or when it was on. My extensive listening of the Mark Kermode film podcast meant I was an adequate replacement though.

Film Review (Plane edition)
Dark Shadows - weird but better than the trailer makes it look.
Men in Black 3 - the definition of average.
Chronicle - well worth watching.
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close - actually found it quite moving.
