A Rare Occurence

It's nobody's birthday - make no mistake!
I just felt like baking a home-made cake.

Of course, it is lots of people's birthday today - just none in this house, but with fog, rain and gales again all week so far, we needed comfort food.

NB My title refers to baking chocolate cake; now banana loaf ... that's much more frequent!
