crested pigeon

We saw some good birds at the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden in Port Augusta, including my first white-browed babblers and chirruping wedgebills. It's a large site devoted to displaying and explaining the varied plant and tree life of the interior - really interesting and pleasant to wander round. I'd seen crested pigeons before in downtown Sydney but this is really where they belong.
