For the birds

The last berries of last fall, somehow they don't seem to be that tasty though. Otherwise they would be long gone. This winter was long and harsh. After some spring like days last week we had another 8 inches of nice and dry snow falling last Sunday. Maggie enjoyed frolicking in the white meadows on Monday . The snow stayed around as the night had been very cold. But by today it looked like in the upper picture. Most of the fresh snow had melted. The ducks in the park took up their spring business, i.e. 7 males gang raping one female..I always hate to see that.

Thank you for your overwhelming support and feedback for the grungy picture on the third. It was the only picture in three years to appear on page one of the popular pages without being a celebration picture. :-)
