Beach Brick

A Mossite brick. On a beach in Scotland. It was made in Coalmoor, Telford by Coalmoor Sanitary Pipe Co. Ltd, Telford, Shropshire, England. Sometime between 1908 and 1948.

So what's it doing on the beach at Granton?

Mind you, the same question could be asked of me. I'd finished back to back meetings and should have headed home. But ever since Will tipped me off about the collection of bricks here it's been calling me. Today was the day.
