Copper Belly Fergie

This picture is of the same model tractor in three different scales. The big one is 1/16th, middle one 1/32, and the small one is 1/43rd. This is the Ferguson 35 which was sold in 1953, and was the last tractor sold as Ferguson. Shortly after it was launched, Ferguson amalgamated with Massey Harris, and the more familiar Massey Ferguson 35 in red and grey was the first tractor in the new colours. It's nickname of gold or copper belly is obvious from the colour scheme, and apparently it is quite difficult to match this very early metallic colour properly.

The above has kindly been written by Mr Tbay in order to get the accurate scales! This is I have to say my favourite in his collection model wise. Probably as it is in 'girly’ colours!!

Farming- Mr Tbay Jnr once more on bale hauling runs. Rusty and Josh on compost hauling. The company that service the forager called in today to assess what will be needed for the pre season service. Only about 8 weeks away from first potential silage cuts.

I have been office bound today finishing the last of the vat and bills. All done and filed so feeling smug!
