Forvie dunes

Got back from Cheshire at 1:30am this morning so I missed the sunrise and then it quickly clouded over. The tide was in so there were not so many birds in view. Today I am house and cat sitting in the modern house next door and the views are stunning, wide windows give a full view of the dunes and estuary, I feel very privileged to be here. 
I got my new lens out to test it, ready for some wildlife photography practice and took this picture before setting off to work.
