I Thought I Saw An Elephant
It was raining for most of the morning. A drier afternoon, but windy and showers again this evening.
Day off work. I had an appointment in Lerwick first thing. I got home, and took the opportunity to get out with Sammy for a walk. We got a decent walk done, but soaked on our way home! The rest of the morning was lazy, watching telly. Nipped down to sister Laura''s after lunch, and we both headed down to see granny, with auntie Alma and uncle Tom there too. More walkies this afternoon and evening. Off to work in the pub later tonight.
Laura had a few parcels to deliver while we were out, and did a peerie trip around the sooth end. From a distance, we both spotted an elephant in a field. Elephants aren't common in Shetland, well there's none! As we came closer, the elephant turned out to be this lump of croft junk and old fence wire. Shame as I'd liked to have met an elephant here :) Taken in the Clumlie road, Dunrossness.
