Cardiff Castle

MONDAY

The Norman keep at Cardiff Castle.

Travelling here from Halifax in West Yorkshire was problematic due to a fatality on the line between Shrewsbury and Cardiff. As a result direct trains from Manchester were cancelled and I had to travel on four trains instead of two.

Whilst I've been to South Wales before, I've no recollection of visiting Cardiff (or Crewe for that matter). I've been pleasantly surprised at bits I have seen so far ( The Castle, Waterfront and City Centre) - see extras.
