Keeping Watch

What a day! Had my computer competency test - no big problems and I was there for almost another 2 hours! The other candidate was doing the same this afternoon so I should know in the next few days!

Called into College and had a chat with a former tutor/new colleague about it all - she has offered to be a referee if needed which is lovely.

Came home and slayed the laundry beast - received an interesting call from a friend which has the potential to be something amazing! Then had another phone call inviting me for an interview on Thursday at another position I've applied for!

As MrRoly is home this week, I took the scenic route home from swimming and was taken with the view of Pendennis Castle floodlit above the Falmouth Coastguard station. Both are there to protect our shores - just in very different times! I always smile when it is reported on the radio that the Falmouth Coastguard played a part in some rescue hundreds of miles away! We get to visit in a few weeks with Brownies and I'm really looking forward to it.
