Went to a good lecture this morning with James Balog, a photographer with vast experience photographing icebergs and documenting their shrinking size.  Tried to get a decent shot of him at the luncheon after the lecture, but none of them were very good.  However, when I came home, there was a nice pelican getting ready to take a nap on the dock!  I've never seen them do this, so I took the opportunity to get a few shots.  Now I'm wondering how long is a pelican nap????
