Our last good byes
Went to see Anthony today at the funeral home. Some family and close friends who wished to say one last good bye before the funeral tomorrow.I haven't seen too many dead people.Very strange indeed. One of those immediate impact moments.
There he was in his bright red coffin, looking incredibly calm and peaceful, maybe a little heavy handed on the make up, but hey one last hurrah,eh.
It seemed he was a 'secret' cigarette smoker....he would sit with different friends away from the madding crowd and have a smoke and conversation with them, there were a lot of smokes sitting in his coffin - pay backs no doubt for all those times past. Just as well they didn't put a 4 x 4 trye in there for his truck - it would have been a bit heavy.
Good-bye dear Anthony, 25 years and it was a pleasure.
