Different

After a routine check-up at the dentist, there was no fast bus which meant meandering through​ Midlothian but gave me this fine view of the hills as we left Roslin. At work I began with some thrilling admin: writing cover sheets retrospectively for new courses already approved! The real pleasure was sending encouraging emails to three prospective Masters students, one of whom sent me an excited reply: that's what matters! Then I set next week's class test, in the hope that it's not as "woefully hard" as last year's.
