Ploughing in the cauliflowers

I was in at CA until lunchtime but found time for a walk in the afternoon.  I always find it a bit sad to see acres of unpicked vegetables being ploughed back into the land.  Presumably the farmer could not find a buyer or the cost of harvesting them outweighed their value.
