date night

Please excuse the funny 'deer in the headlights' look on my face! I was anticipating the self-timer feature on the camera going off. I only took ONE photo today. This was it -- like it or not, taken when Steven & I came back from a wonderful dinner at a new restaurant for us called El Warike. It's Peruvian and a new one for us, but we found it very cozy and so delicious! Great service too, highly recommended on 26th St W, in Bradenton - if you are in the area.

You can see a bit of our tiny living room in this photo which yesterday & today we both worked on to make feel more spacious by removing a large armoire and mounting the computer/ media screen on the wall instead. We watch programs & movies via streaming Netflex (through the computer). A friend of mine was recently surprised to learn we did not have basic cable TV?? We don't and we don't miss it! Anyway, we have also moved a large chair out and I have taken some artwork off the walls because it was just too crowded... I found other places for it. Our living space feels much better now. Room to breathe.
