Hugel Beds at The Lost Garden

I spent a brilliant afternoon down at the Lost Garden of Penicuik with a tour and learning all about hugel beds - big raised beds built on wood and other organic matter which is self-tilling and you plant in the side of them. Organic polyculture.

We also took part in the World's Biggest Quiz Night at our local pub - there were over 1000 pubs playing with the same questions - surprisingly we won (in our pub not the whole thing), even though there were just three of us.
