Birthday Party

O slept until 10am this morning, when H woke him up. If only she hadn't got up at 7am, it would really have been a luxury sleep!

Today it was my friend J's little girl's 1st birthday party. I popped to Next to collect an order for myself of new boots and a new top to wear. Unfortunately neither fitted (too big, shock horror!) so I had to make do with old stuff! It was a nice day at J's. H made friends with another little girl and they chased each other around the garden for most of the afternoon. Apart from the 2 girls, there were lots of babies ranging from 3 weeks to 18 months, so it was like a creche!

The night passed us by - Chinese for dinner, then a late bedtime for the kids, due to late rise/too much cake meant that we didn't settle down until around 10pm, but you can't have it all!
