Now, as I see it......

Sir Keith Park

I saw that there was a steam engine at the Nene Valley Railway for the last time today before it moves away, and as I hadn't seen it before and W was in the middle of something that needed peace and quiet for concentration, I had a drive up. It's a 'Battle Of Britain' class locomotive No. 34053, built for the Southern Railway and named 'Sir Keith Park' after a First World War air ace and Second World War Air Force Commander. In the main picture it is waiting to leave Wansford station, but I've added an extra of it arriving at the station earlier, and also one of the signal box specially for Riversider!
