Blue and white

A day of two halves. This was the scene that greeted us at the top of the mountain in Morzine this morning, with an idyllic blue sky and warm sunshine start to the day's skiing.
By mid-afternoon, though, the weather closed in with heavy snowfall, and by teatime it was a whiteout with snow so dense it obliterated the landscape. Happily by then our Ssangyong ski party was back inside the warmth of the alpine chalet.
