Cutting the cake

Thank you for your good wishes for my debut with a new ceilidh band. I'm pleased to say that all went well and I enjoyed the evening.

We were playing at Cuddington in Cheshire for a 60th wedding anniversary party and it was a lovely occasion in a beautiful newish village hall. They even provided a super piano so I didn't have to use my own.  A fantastic buffet too!

The blip is of one of their cakes which was covered in marzipan, there was another covered in icing for those that didn't like marzipan. 

A good ending to the night was that the band asked if I'll play with them again so I was really pleased that they were satisfied.
