Manchester

Taking grandson B to Manchester to catch train and hit traffic close to Piccadilly Station. I must have driven down this road (London Road) a dozen times and never noticed that it used to be a fire station. Sadly now derelict. I had a quick look on the web site and see that it is a grade II listed building and been bought and sold a number of times in the last few years.
Built 1904/06 it has quite an interesting history. It was open to the pub lic a couple of days last year, I must keep an eye on this happening again this year. Off to a rather damp Speke today. Have a good one.
