Up

A great wee day today, for a number of reasons.

1. My aunt came up from London and so Amélie got to meet her for the first time, it was nice to have them finally meet and Amélie seemed to enjoy her company shiny dangly earrings.

2. Joni got some time out tonight with the girls and decided to have a sparkling wine, pamper session.

3. While Joni was out, I took Amélie to Tchai Ovna; a bohemian tearoom in the hidden west end of Glasgow. I had Arabic mint tea with some delicious backlava and she had some pureed pears and stared at the 'interesting surroundings & people'. I wanted to make sure she got the chance to see the place as its in threat of being closed down, not because of the large sheesha pipes and dried fruit smoking - but because of planning and local council using the land.

This photograph was taken as Amélie decided to climb up in her cot. My fears are that it won't be long before the rest of her is following her hand.
