The new Anna Meares Velodrome in Brisbane

It was built for the Commonwealth Games that are on the coast next year and named after one of our track cyclists who had many achievements . We spent the day at the Aussie National titles , amazing and quite scary to watch . They ride so close and fast . Standing at the ends the boards seem to drop nearly vertically , actually it's about 42 % , I still don't know how quite they keep upright !
