Rushing Waters, Touch of Green
We took a walk along the Klickitat Trail this afternoon. Two weeks ago this trail was covered in snow, and today the trail was nearly clear. Tiny Swale Creek is quite swollen with snow runoff.
I noticed pussy willow branches have small buds and masses of tiny green leaves of soon-to-be wildflowers. We saw Killdeer Plover, California Quail and Western Meadowlarks, which have a delightful song.
Hoping for continued warm weather and glad for the lengthening days.
