PIED OYSTER CATCHER( SOUTH iSLAND)

The South Island Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus) is a mighty fast bird. I was trying to get them flying head on as they cleared their feeding site. I suppose I took 50 shots - and only got a couple of sharpies. Lots of fun had though. A worthwhile exercise just to get this one nice and sharp with a nice eye.
