Blackbird in the Rain (+ a Fluffed Pigeon)

It rained on and off today, perhaps the worst since we arrived two months ago.  Outings were only to shop for food for brunch visitors tomorrow (including little Ella :)  This fellow posed nicely, though not ideally close; notice what seem to be water drops to the left of his lower back; I think they were shaken off rather than bounced.   Extras don't have to be same-day, so I am taking the liberty of posting a fluffed wood pigeon from four days ago (below us behind our apartment, thus perhaps a better angle than here).
