Homemade felt

Miserable day weather-wise.
Heavy rain overnight which saturated the ground (glad it waited until last night's run in the muddy woods in the dark) and then eased off before stopping and turning into thick mist.
It wasn't any surprise to see a reduced number at parkrun, esp as there are 2 big races this weekend, and it was a very muddy route but fun once we got going.
This afternoon I made the felt piece above (it's about 15x25cm), not sure what I'm going to do with it, and also crawled around the floor cutting out the material to make a top. I've had the material for years when it was left over from the graduation ball gown I made my daughter but I'd almost forgotten about it until I did some tidying up.
