Petunias

I missed this for Flower Friday yesterday but here we are... colourful petunias on this roundabout that I saw on Thursday and drove past today so G could see it. We set out to have lunch at one of the food trucks on the beach, but the weather was so bad (hazy/polluted), decided eating out in it wasn't a great idea as our coughs were bad again this morning, so... we diverted to Gourmet Lafayette in Dubai Mall... and very nice it was too. :)

Had a bit of a drive around some scenic roads, first to catch a glimpse of peacocks in this area who are displaying the feathers! (This roundabout was on the way.) We then drove down to check out what's happening on the Creek. All quiet for a Saturday. Got back home to chill; and then had a visit from my Dad's friend who was instrumental in helping us get the flat we are now in. We had hoped to go into business with him, but have had to decline.

The evening progressed with Andy Murray winning the Dubai Tennis Open. First time for him; he was HAPPY. A most unusual elaborate award ceremony ensued, but may it was because it was the 25th anniversary of the tournament.
