Bay

We have a bay tree outside the back door, very handy for picking for the stew pot. I grew it from a cutting about thirty years ago and it has been in the same half barrel for most of that time. I should really try to repot it, but it is eight feet tall!
It was lovely to spend useful time in the garden this morning and it was quite warm in the sunshine. Later in the day we had rain with the sunshine, so there was the hint of a rainbow.
