Hamble-le-Rice

Where the river Hamble meets Southampton Water. A popular destination to visit and not just for yachties. The TV series Howards Way was made here back in the 1980s. And going back to the second world war, it was an aircraft training area for Spitfire, Hurricane, and Lancaster.

 Weather didn't lend its self to exploring very far, so we went into one of the many eateries and had a super lunch before heading back here to the Hotel to rest and get ready for Dinner tonight. Have been asked to do duty photographer, so only one G&T beforehand!;-)
