Binturong
Today we went to a small zoo. It is set in the jungle and you have to either take a tram or hire a golf buggy to get around it. Deer roam free in the first area you pass through. Then you reach the tiger park where the animals are housed on islands, they have plenty of shade and can easily get into the water, in fact they are encouraged to by the keepers who dangle meat for them to jump up and catch. There are also white and golden lions. My photo is of one of a pair of butrongs that were sleeping in the, for want of a better word, reception area. Visitors can feed them pieces of fruit and touch them. Their coat is very corse, although there heads are quite soft. They are free to climb down should they wish to.
I have added an extra of a leaping tiger.
