Swans Exposed

Inspired by Vodkaman I decided to pop down to the river this evening during the fading light to try and catch a swan portrait. I hadn't realised until reading about the white butterfly that the same rules apply to swans ,who are notoriously difficult to expose correctly, and therefore get good feather detail. This is my best attempt with bonus water droplets. As for the day, its been pretty relaxed, popped out for a hair cut and to pay in an insurance cheque which has finally arrived 18months after the incident, then spent the afternoon reading and sorting photos after a nice lunch and a drop of wine.
