Riding into the Mountains

I was on the road at 7.15 to watch the start of the Motatapu Challenge.  The first race started at 8.30, then followed by waves of hundreds of riders.  The race is 47 k's long, over a farm track, from Glendhu Bay to Arrowtown.  There were over 3,500 competitors!  There was also a triathlon being held at the same time.  (extra 1).

Went to croquet this afternoon, a lovely breeze blowing, which kept us cool.
