Dafties...

After a civilised morning having coffee with two friends and a very cute 17 nth old, I had lunch with this rabble. My two and their pal - the mum of whom I'd had a civilised coffee with. His mum and I were commenting on how our boys were still lovely, but not quite as cute as a 17mth old. Not quite as quiet either! We went to McDs then headed to the opticians to collect my new glasses. They were trying on some interesting looks. I'm now getting used to varifocals. It's amazing how clear the view is now - I hadn't realised I'd got used to such unclear horizons! The tricky bit is moving my head to see closer things.
I'm testing them just now - close on my phone and then glancing up and wow! I can see instantly! No waiting 5 mins for my eyes to adjust! Whoop whoop!
