I had to take a half day holiday to do "grown up business stuff" in Edinburgh this afternoon. It seems a bit of a waste of a half day off, but these things have to be done and it also gave me a bit of a chance to wander round some of the new town which was good.

This evening thechimp and I went to see LaLa Land which was being shown at the Eastgate Theatre in Peebles. It had proved so popular that it was being shown 4 times and has sold out on each occasion. I loved the film - it was pure escapism - but thechimp wasn't keen. When we got home Mary had heated up pizza and I am now stuffed with pizza and chocolate biscuits.
