Holidays

Just back from a short holiday in Kingsbarns, just outside St Andrews. Perhaps not an exaggeration to say the bst holiday in ages. Wall to wall blue skies and sunshine, if a bit chilly. Taking an almost 2 year old on her first holiday where she can confidently run, jump and shout "yippee!" was so special. Everything she said was followed by lots of !!! Swimming!!! Yippee!! A Castle!! A tractor!!! Endless excitement. And an absolute joy to watch. We were outside all day, everyday, and I'm feeling refreshed and happy and focused. If a bit weather-beaten! 

Best part...Wee one telling her pirate ship bath toy tonght..."I was on holiday, but I'm back now!" Bless.

Blip is from "proper camera" in a beautiful walled garden where we found this special bench for snacks. A friendly robin came to spend time with us and wee one was fascinated.
