Not exactly as planned

A visit to the dentist was supposed to be followed by meeting with friends at the Hepworth print fair.
The Friends were too ill to make it and parking was a nightmare so we headed off to the Kings Arms at Heath for lunch.
We then headed into Wakefield to buy my god daughter's novel which was published yesterday. Waterstones didn't have it but they said it was in the Leeds store. I could not face a trip to Leeds in the rain so we had a mooch around Wakefield Cathedral instead.
We have reserved the books and will get them tomorrow. Hopefully we will get to the print fair on Sunday. And hopefully our friends will feel better soon.
