Time is money!
An offshore supply vessel entering Aberdeen harbour.
The striking building is the state-of-the-art Marine Operations Centre which controls all vessel movements in and out of the busy Harbour. It replaces the old Navigation Control Centre, built in 1803.
The strange obelisk-like brick structure is known as Scarty's monument, Scarty being a pilot in Victorian times. It is in fact an air vent for a long disused sewer!
