From the terrace

I spent a lot of time taking pictures in Vernet les Bains once I discovered the local tourist office photographic competition Vernet les Bains Cap Canigou.

There are however only a limited number of angles from which you can take a picture that encompasses both the essence of Vernet and the peak of Canigou, and mine all turned out like the pictures on the postcards in the local shops. So this was a particularly frustrating day of blipping and so I offer you something completely different taken earlier in the day.
