Feathered Flower

I give you a flower,
whose petals are feathers
of yellow, blue and white.

Here it sits
on a branch of forsythia,
no other flower in sight.

Thistle or dandelion
spreading their seeds
are the only blooms as light

as (branching out
with a sudden flutter)
the tomtit flower in flight.

The theme to this week's Flower Friday, kindly hosted by BikerBear, is 'mad March hare' - or any one of those three words. Unsurprisingly, I've gone for 'mad' - poetic licence!

Thank you for kind comments on my abstract yesterblip. Have a great weekend, blipmates!
