CCN and I had a lovely visit from Mr and Mrs Beckett today. Mr Beckett had agreed to give me some advice on how to take birds in flight after I had bribed offered to pay him for his time with a batch of home baked shortbread :-) Well what do you know, the sun came out for a millisecond and that was while I was preparing lunch!! I must admit I did get more than I bargained for with a "Master Class" on many aspects of how to utilise Lightroom and post production of images. Woohoo, just before Tom headed down the mountain with the wonderful Mrs Beckett we were able to sneak in a very valuable session on how to out manoeuvre the feathered friends who visit Wombat Hollow on a regular basis.
It was a very relaxing and laughter filled few hours and I'm so thrilled to have gained so much from one batch of shortbread!! Thanks Tom, you're a gem.
If you're wondering what's going on in the picture, I think CCN might be trying to explain away the piece of freshly picked "Baby Spinach" from the veggie patch that is tucked behind her ear. It was our first harvest from the newly planted veggies and I can only imagine that this was CCN's way of celebrating the moment. Hmmmm, I might have to seek some clarification from her on this matter!!
I hope all of my blip buddies wherever you are have a wonderful weekend. I'm just hoping and praying the Blackheath Golf Club Championships are called off tomorrow, it's still bucketing down and I'm really a fair weather golfer. Oh, well..........
