Blue Sky Blipping

Well, it's officially autumn but, when I went out walking today, there was sunshine and blue skies so I was determined to try for a shot that at could least pass for a summer blip.

Took quite a few photographs along the banks of the canal, but there was nothing that really stood out.

Was back on the road again when I heard the sound of a jet taking off from Edinburgh Airport. This area is directly under the flightpath so they are quite low when they pass over.

I looked up and in that instant, saw the plane, the blue sky and the field of barley and managed a couple of shots before the aircraft was out of shot.

This was the kind of photo I was hoping for and thought I'd give it a go.
