Two for the price of one.

Today saw two events locally which we wanted to attend.

So this morning we went off to Maesbury Marsh to see the Maesbury canal festival. One of the favourite narrow boats was the one blipped which was selling cheese.

The this afternoon off to the Welsh Food Festival at Glansevern Hall near Berriew. Most enjoyable. Nice to catch up with old friends as well as see Mrs DD's Bro and Sister-in-law playing in their band, 'Kicking Alice.'

Don't be put off by the name of the band. They are first and foremost an Appalachian dance group - but the music sounds good too.
