and the winners were....

After a fiercely contested match the trophy went to the school team. Here is one of Emma's closest friends, Chloe with the Emma Broad Cup.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and supportive comments this morning which helped me to leave the house in a positive mood thinking how lovely it is that we are continuing Emma's legacy in this way and how lucky we are to be surrounded by such wonderful friends.
So far we have raised nearly £60 000 in total for Cardiac Risk in the Young and are funding a research fellow for a year. I think Emma would be proud of us as we were of her.
oh and thank you to the terrific tea ladies who were apparently so busy chatting amongst themselves they didn't notice the queue!!
