Safe Haven

We found a small cove today, tucked away and sheltered from the worst of today's windy weather.

A very young fisherman was working on his boat and it made me realise just how brave these people are, risking their lives on a regular basis. Just a few minutes earlier, I had been sat on the other side of the cove, watching the waves pounding the rocks, feeling the spray on my face and thinking how lucky was I not to be at sea on a day like today.

I couldn't resist snapping the 'Slipway Honesty Box'. It made me laugh, as it was a Royal Mail post box, that had been removed from its home and disguised with blue paint! No idea where the poor villagers are now posting their mail :))

A whopping 'thank you' for the incredible response to my previous two Blips! I'm astounded.
I also have to say a big thank you to SS (whose photography I love), for two consecutive hearts. I can't leave a 'thank you' any other way, as comments are off. Hope you don't mind
