Castro de Tintinolho

A break from orienteering for a few days.  We moved to Guarda which turn out to be a dump so we used  the geocaching website to look for the most "favourited " caches in the area. ". You guessed it there is a cache on the top of this pile of rocks and I have to follow Mr P and R to the top.  There was a village here in the Iron Age and last used by the Romans. Archaeologists have found where the walls of the houses were but little was obvious to the untrained eye. Great view from the top and lots of exercise climbing up the hill. That was after a hair raising hilly drive up a really narrow overgrown track for a couple of km
