Spectacular fallstreaks* on show looking northwards over Slains Castle late this afternoon.

*Fallstreaks or Virga (from the Latin for 'rod') is any form of precipitation, whether rain, snow or ice that evaporates before it reaches the ground. Its failure to do so is due to it passing through a warmer or dryer layer of air on the way down.
