Between showers (Day 658)

The weather wasn't looking promising as I wandered up the hill with the dogs this morning. Heavy overnight rain had left the path resembling a river, and the dogs were pretty wet by the time I got them back into the van.
I had a trip to town to collect some bits before making a start on altering the drainage outside the house so that I can connect in the new loo and shower wastes.
After lunch my beautiful wife took the dogs and me for a wander at Wasdale. We arrived in torrential rain and hail driven along on a strong wind. Thankfully the wind was at our backs and the rain went off as we turned to head for the car.
I got quite wet later, working outside to finish off the drainage connections. I am looking forward to getting this shower room finished.
