Церковь Святого Александра Невского ...

After a rainy night and early morning from time to time the sun peeped through the clouds and gave at some moments a dramatic view. I tried to capture what I saw and chose for a black and white version which makes the light pop up in the scene.

You see the Church of the Holy orthodox chief prince Alexander Nevsky, a Russian Orthodox church Schiedamsesingel Rotterdam. The church belongs to the Diocese of The Hague and the Netherlands of the Moscow Patriarchate and the first traditional Russian Orthodox church in the Netherlands. Services are celebrated in Church Slavonic and the main lectures will be repeated in Dutch.
